CASTELLO IZZALINI is one of the most evocative villages around Todi, its ancient
construction has been turned into a modern and an elegant resort equipped
of every comfort and ready to satisfy the most demanding and refined travellers.
The ancient fortress, which was once home of the great monarch Ezzelino III,
overlooks the Tevere river.
CASTELLO IZZALINI was originally built in the XIII century and today is the
“home” of 15
elegant apartments completely restructured and furnished with class. Fine
and elegantly decorated furniture, hard wood flooring, warm colours, famous
decorative pictures and fine Italian ceramics contribute to create and enchanting
atmosphere. All the rooms are equipped with the most modern technologies:
LCD PLASMA SATELLITE TV and WìFì high speed internet connection.
Our Guests will be able to “experience” Todi, Orvieto, Perugia,
Assisi, Spello… , splendid “pearls” “where history
can be lived again” immersed in the green of the Umbrian Nature and
be “discover” the slower paced rhythms of life still full of qualities!
Also the palate will be satisfied by our authentic and genuine cooking of
the best chefs in Italy! Great wines DOC, produced by the many wineries located
along the CASTELLO IZZALINI’S territory.
The ApartmentsThe restoration of CASTELLO IZZALINI has been done preserving the original
characteristic of the medieval castle from the XIII century and at the same
time, equipping all the apartments with all the modern comforts.
The apartments
induce the spirit of a “dive in an ancient age”, living in a true
Italian historical dwelling. The old fashioned thick walls, the bricks, the
external openings… give an authentic feeling of a ”return to the
past”.
The ancient architecture has been “rejuvenated” with fine and
elegant furnishing: parquet flooring, elegant kitchens, bathrooms finely
decorated with mosaics of Bisazza, all furnishings wisely selected with
modern technology (LCD – SATELLITE and high-speed internet connection).
The Club House
Soon CASTELLO IZZALINI will be equipped with a new and elegant CLUB HOUSE
located in the most beautiful part of the castle. In the new CLUB HOUSE our
Guests will find:
*The Reception service.
*A small and elegant fine-dining restaurant in which Guests will be able to
have their personal table reserved at all times.
*A wine cellar supplied with specially DOC fine wines, with the possibility
to organize wine tastings.
*An elegant bar with social and hobby rooms.
*An organized and functional office to resolve business related matters even
on vacation (available on request the assistance of a multi-lingual speaking
secretary).
*A small SHOP offering specially selected food & wine products.
*A state of the art SPA where Guests can unwind and relax. The SPA will be
equipped with Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and rooms for massages and beauty treatments.
